Not My Idea

There'd always come a time that you get tired of everything,
of everybody,
and your every self.
And when I'm facing this kind of phase,
I tried to be calm,
exert all my goodness,
and keep my poise.
But one thing I can't avoid,
I can be mean.
Rude.
And ridiculous.
My self-justification is just a simple sense of defense mechanism.
I get easily annoyed when I'm having personal issues.
It dissolves my way of thinking.
My point of view becomes narrow.
I turn mad.
But I'm just tired.

Working Out

It's the Sinulog Fest but I'm working.
Everybody's partying and I'm working.
Most of my friends are drinking right now yet I'm working.
I checked where I've been most of the time but I was always working.
I've been working.
Working.

I have to work.

Favorite Celebrity of the Week

Ruffa Gutierrez.

Why?
Why not?
Everybody (or almost everybody) loves the world's famous second princess from the third world.
I love her.
For now.
She always remind me of my frined,
Chet.
Mimicking her shouting "Robeeeeeeeen!" when she was mobbed by a press in a trial room during the height of MMFF scandal.
I also liked her when she did the remake of "Ang Pinakamagandang Hayop sa Balat ng Lupa" and nobody does "grabeh!" the way Ruffa did.
Oh,
I just realized I have been always her fan.
Well,
I'm always a fan of beautiful,
smart people with attitude.
I just see myself in them.

The last movie I watched in the theatre to date was her "Desperadas 2".
I so so love her candidness,
watch as a confetti landed on her mouth,
and in a scene where she said the line:
"Yeah, that's me...
mali nga lang ang pronunciation."
Not really a natural actress.
She's an actress.
But she's more natural.

And lately,
I so so love her more when she interviewed Pops where the latter explained her closeness with Piolo Pascual.

Pops: "Are you selos, girl?"

Ruffa: "No. I am not selos. Grabeh! Okay?"

Should I say it's my latest favorite expression?

This Year on Frigid Jones

Yours truly has been avoiding the press and the paparazzis for the past few...
oh my gahd,
it has been months?
Yes.
No.
Well,
t's part of my 2009 resolution based on feng shui advise:
Go Low Profile to avoid mishaps.
But it shouldn't prevent the queerest to shut-up.
I'd still be singing songs,
in low key.
Yeah,
the 2009 trend?
Everything starts with LOW...
Hell LOW!
