The Nth Shock

Currently playing: "The Beginning" by Alice Peacock

T's the new season with an all new episode
-of my so-called dragged life.
I'm back on the primetime with some unknown but expected surprises.
Revived diva issues.
Rephrased whinings.
Recycled faces.
Retrieved feelings.
Recalled events.
(Add your thoughts here.)

I set my eyes again to the brightly-lit office building that welcomes back his long lost fag-hag vampeerella.

And my eyes blur.
I'm going blind.
Nah!
My eyes' already used waking up on normal times.
The entrance was mobbed by the lung cancer candidates creating clouds of smoke promoting mortality.
Freshening up for work and conditioning your hair doesn't really matter after you crossed the crowd of chainsmokers.
And being one of them is toxic.

Then,
I sank into a sudden frustration.
I no longer want the limelight.

Rewind.

Sunday was an Emperor day.
I was supposed to pick-up Ces at 12 noon but I got up late.
As usual.

I was partying with the "Pugad Baboy" casts the previous night.
It was the team's farewell party.
And,
as what was expected.
A star-studded night and the most awaited showdown of the Cruzes minus Sunshine.
Overflowing drinks.
Bloopers replayed.
Drama excerpts.
And another hang-over.

I met up Luther and Ces at La Maison.
It was almost 3 o'clock in the afternoon.
They already took their lunch within two hours waiting for the prima donna .
I was shamelessly starving when I arrived.
They were already having pretzels in chocolate fondue.
Luther's lunch treat's Braised Baby Backribs and Penne Cioppino.
I drowned it with a hot brewed coffee then I had a Green Mango Shake.
T'was my first time in La Maison and the service was pretty good.
I'd definitely go back for La Maison's Spareribs.

We headed to Luther's hotel and watched replays of the Gossip Girl over a dozen of
donuts.
We're meeting Ms. MD at 7 PM so we 're able to watch five episodes.
Jonathan's supposed to be with us earlier that day but it was Manny Pacquiao's fight so we considered his absence.
Meeting place was at The Walk's Mooon Cafe but the place was full and we needed to be on the waitlist.
We decided to try Pier One which is just located upstairs.
And guess who's in the city?
